Note - Cervical Cytology - Please be aware there is a current delay in the practice receiving smear results. Current turnaround is between 10 - 12 Weeks from the lab. Cytology are doing everything they can do to ensure results are processed as quickly as possible.

EPS - We are offering the Electronic Prescription Service if you want your prescription to go to your preferred pharmacy ask them to nominate you. You will still order your prescriptions in the same way but they are sent to the pharmacy electronically. Note you do not have to have a computer at home for this. If you request items that are not on repeat these have to be agreed with the GP and may be refused.
You can order online via Patient Services below if you are already registered.

We also offer 'electronic prescriptions' to save you time. If you nominate at your chosen pharmacy the prescription can go directly to them to save you a journey in collecting from us.
Patients on long-term medication who are eligible for repeat prescriptions can order them in a number of ways:
Our practice pharmacist assists with issues relating to prescribing and is available by arrangement to discuss matters relating to prescriptions and medicines.
(Please note that antibiotics may not be requested using this service unless prior approval has been given by your Doctor)
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor or a practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your medication taking weekends and bank holidays into account. If you request items not on repeat these will take longer as need approval by your GP.
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs). The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 15 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.

To minimise the inconvenience to you why not take advantage of the Repeat Prescription Service, which is offered free by our local pharmacists. When requesting a repeat prescription by letter or by telephone with us simply give the name of the local pharmacist you use, and we will arrange for your prescription to be collected by them. There will be no need for you to make an extra journey to the surgery - just collect your repeat prescription direct from the chemist of your choice or nominate at the pharmacy of your choice and take adavantage of the electronic prescription service.
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
The Electronic Prescription Service or EPS as it is known is an NHS service that will send your prescription to your nominated pharmacy without the need for a paper copy or a visit the practice.
Nominate a pharmacy of your choice and this pharmacy will receive your prescription directly from your GP, via the EPS Service. EPS is a reliabe and secure service giving you more choice about where to get your medicines from. You may nominate a pharmacy that is closer to your workplace for example.
Please call in or contact your preffered pharmacy and ask about the EPS service.
Note you do not need to have a computer at home for this service - this will save you the visit to the surgery to collect the prescription.
